Dragos’ interest is synthesis, composition and audio design. He has created music for several video games and continues to work on several projects, expanding his palette and style.
Classically and formally trained through Marryatville High School’s prestigious special interest music program, Dragos has been involved in music for over 20 years. He obtained his Bachelor of Music Studies Majoring in Music Technology Adelaide Conservatorium. Keenly interested in composition and music theory, in 2000 he won first prize in the Young Composer’s award for his age group for the state of South Australia, and he has continued to develop his interest in the compositional field through learning the programs Cakewalk, Reason and later Ableton Live.
He has deeply explored the world of digital music creation, from DJing, to learning about synthesis, to the production of original electronic music in a variety of styles including dance, video game and film music. Dragos has also completed his Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification, which further aids him in delivering effective, and engaging lessons for likeminded students.
