Brad Slater (A.Mus.A., B.A./B.Teach., M.Mus.Tech.) is a full-time, qualified music teacher who specialises in woodwind instruments (flute, clarinet, sax & recorder) and classroom teaching. His teaching philosophy is that music should be enjoyable and that a good teacher will bring out each student’s potential to achieve.
Brad is currently the Director of Music at one of Melbourne’s largest secondary colleges. As well as being the head of the Music faculty he enjoys teaching VCE Music, conducting bands and teaching classroom music. His experience includes preparing woodwind students for AMEB exams, VCE and simply personal enjoyment. He has VIT registration and first aid.
Brad teaches from a home studio in Pascoe Vale but limited lessons are also available at student’s homes in the south eastern suburbs.
