Christine Hutchinson teaches piano and theory from her home studio on the border of Brunswick and Coburg. She is a full member of the VMTA and is also a VIT registered teacher. Christine has 40 years experience as a music educator and over that time has taught all ages from 5 to adult either in preparation for AMEB examinations up to 8th grade piano and 6th grade theory, as well as preparation for the practical and theoretical components of VCE music and VET Music Industry (Cert III), or purely for the student’s leisure and relaxation. She is a specialist in tailoring a program of study to the student’s specific interests, needs and abilities and uses a wide range of music resources and teaching techniques. Christine believes that music should be fun and engaging and should be accessible to all, no matter your experience or background and strives to make her lessons something that her students look forward to in their busy week.
