About

I am a tertiary qualified musician and teacher living in the Fairfield/Northcote area.

I have played on lots of albums spanning many different genres. As a performing musician, I have toured Australia with several groups and played at festivals such as the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, Strawberry Fields Festival, Brunswick Music Festival and Beyond the Valley to name a few.

I teach from my studio in Fairfield/Northcote but am mobile so can come to you. At my studio, I have multiple basses and amps which you can learn on.

More than happy to take on any skill level, including complete beginners and any age group. The most important thing for me is that my students have fun and enjoy the music they are making.

What we can cover in lessons:

– Just music!
– music theory & aural training
– audition preparation (for example VCA, Monash
University, Melbourne Polytechnic, Box Hill Institute, AIM)
– jazz improvisation & advanced harmonic concepts

Lessons begin at $30 per half hour or $50 for a whole hour.

My number is 0425841430, feel free to get in touch! Or shoot me an email through ol.mcintyre25@gmail.com
