My name is Elly and I’m a Melbourne-based saxophone player, currently studying Jazz and Improvisation at the University of Melbourne. I specialise in teaching alto and tenor saxophones as well as flute and clarinet. I have close to ten years experience on both saxophone and flute as well as 5 years experience on clarinet.

I have a range of experience in many genres including jazz, classical, funk and contemporary. I can also teach music theory, ear training, sight reading and improvisation.

I have a strong passion for the music I create and would love to share that passion to beginning and developing students of any age. I teach with an emphasis on both the technical skills of the instruments and the theoretical knowledge that supports this, as well as encouraging play and self-expression through music.

My rates are:
$50 per half hour
$80 per hour
