Emma has studied five years full time of a Bachelor of Music (performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music (the Con) and achieved a high distinction for her final semester of saxophone performance. She is currently undertaking private study in jazz and improvisation. In early 2010 she received her AMEB AMusA and in the following year she placed first in the open age section of the McDonalds Sydney Eisteddfod Saxophone Solo. She has attended the World Saxophone Congress esin St Andrews, Scotland (2012) and Strasbourg, France (2015), and attended and performed at the 2013 Australasian Saxophone and Clarinet Conference in Sydney.
Emma has performed with the Con Saxophone Orchestra, the Con Wind Symphony, Sydney University InterCol Orchestra, and the Sydney University Wind Orchestra as well as with the 23 Field Regiment Army Band at the 21 Gun Salute for Australia Day 2010 and for the Queen’s Birthday Celebrations. In late 2012, she performed the Prokofiev Romeo and Juliet Suites and Ravel’s Bolero.
