I offer individual lessons for all levels from beginners to tertiary students who want extra tuition, graduates wanting to extend their repertoires, or adult students who would like to refresh or improve their skills. Lessons can include preparation for performances, scholarships, competitions and AMEB Exams (all grades).
I have Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in Piano Performance from a university in Korea and Master of Music (Piano performance) degree from ‘Mannes College of Music’ in New York. As a classically trained pianist, I have performed at many concerts and recitals, solo and ensemble with various professional instrumentalists. I have also accompanied many different choirs.
With more than 30 years’ experience of teaching, lecturing, and tutoring in piano, I can identify different needs for different levels of students and different strategies for various characteristics of individuals.
I think learning an instrument is not just learning how to play it but how to express the music with that instrument. I try to help students to find how they feel about the music and how to use the piano to convey those feelings.
I am a member of Music Teachers Association of SA.

Grace is an excellent pianist with exceptional sight reading skills but above all, she is the most inspirational piano teacher I’ve ever had.
