I have been playing, studying, and performing on the guitar now for over 35 years. I gained a Diploma of Music Performance in Classical Guitar at the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne University, back in 1992. I have performed in bands, duo’s, trio’s and solo over most of my career. I ran a recording studio for over 20 years, producing, engineering, arranging, and performing as a session guitarist. Through much of this time I have also taught privately, in schools and continue to enjoy passing on my enthusiasm for music and the guitar specifically. I still consider myself a student and am probably studying more now than I ever have. As the great B.B. King stated, “The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.”
