I call my approach “Sound first” because tone is the first thing we practise.
My teaching program guides students from basic chords, strumming, and alternate picking up to advanced techniques such as sweep and tapping.
You don’t need to learn notation to get started, however, I cover this topic later on in the course.
Each exercise from my method is supported by original backing tracks.
I include ear training exercises and cover all essential theory concepts applied to the guitar.
Guitar and sound production are two passions in my music career.
I have been playing guitar for 20 years and have been teaching nearly for a decade. I studied Sound engineering at the Institute of Contemporary Art (Moscow, Russia); worked as a studio engineer recording various styles of music – from classical orchestras to jazz ensembles and rock bands. At the same time, I collaborated with other musicians as a guitarist, bass player, and music arranger.
I believe that any goal can be achieved with a step-by-step approach.
I use my experience to help students to plan and consistently move towards their music goals.
My other activities and interests are also music-related. I run a YouTube channel with guitar covers, make DIY guitar pedals, and release my own music.
