Gulliver Poole has performed as a notable emerging pianist in recitals around Victoria, both in public and private events. Most notably in 2023 as a part of the Bendigo Ring Cycle Gulliver performed a series of Wagner-Liszt themed concerts alongside pianist Konrad Olszewski in Bendigo’s Langely Estate. Later in 2023 he performed as a soloist, as well as an accompanist, alongside award-winning Australian baritone Simon Meadows for the Richard Wagner Society of Victoria. Gulliver also has experience as an orchestral pianist within the Percy Grainger Youth Orchestra and Melbourne Youth Orchestra from 2018-20, performing in venues such as the Iwaki Auditorium, Elisabeth Murdoch Hall, and the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
After winning Duo Eclettico’s 2020 Young Composer Competition Gulliver has worked extensively with Duo Eclettico and Coady Green, having multiple commissions performed in venues such as Tempo Rubato, fortyfivedownstairs, Hanson Dyer Hall and the Melbourne Recital Centre. His piece Solicitude has also recently been recorded by Duo Eclettico to be released in an upcoming album.
