Hi,
I do all things music – performing, teaching, composing, laid-back jamming…
I have been playing violin for 24 years and teaching since 2007. I play with the WA Symphony Orchestra, Perth Symphony Orchestra and a number of other ensembles around Perth and Australia.
I have my Bachelor of Music (honours), A. Mus. A and am currently completing my Masters in violin performance and research.
I love teaching students who want to learn and who also have a passion for music. I teach all levels, from beginner to university level. I don’t just teach Classical music – many of my high school students also enjoy learning folk music, Disney and K-pop arrangements.
I draw from a range of teaching methods to find an approach that will suit each individual student best. Everyone has a different learning style and enjoys playing different music. I endeavour to make lessons a creative adventure, during which you learn the secrets of music and unlock your skills.
