Ingrid has been playing violin professionally for over ten years. She is now based in Adelaide, after ten years of experience working in Melbourne. During this time she has performed regularly with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and continues to perform with Melbourne Chamber Orchestra as well as Adelaide Symphony Orchestra. During her study in Adelaide under Keith Crellin (co-founder of Australian String Quartet) she took part in various chamber groups and also performed individually as a soloist. Ingrid then continued on to complete Masters in Music Performance at Melbourne University with Matthew Tomkins (co-founder of Flinders Quartet and Principal Second Violin in Melbourne Symphony Orchestra).
Ingrid has had extensive experience teaching both in schools, such as Wesley College and privately. Students can expect an encouraging and stimulating environment where they will be able to develop good technique and skills to understand and enjoy music.
