First of all, thank you for considering me to become your music teacher. I’ve been doing one-one-one teaching since 2012. I’ve taught students as young as two years old, and as old as adults in their 50s. I’ve taught piano, percussion, musicianship, theory, aural skills and musicology. I have been teaching percussion at two annual regional music camp since 2015 – one in Albury and one in Lismore. I also completed an internship at the Northern Rivers Conservatorium (Lismore) in 2016. In addition, I have classroom music teaching experience. I volunteered as a music teacher for a month in Cambodia. I also volunteered as a music teacher for two months working with refugee teenagers in Greece.
Currently, I teach classroom music in primary schools, as well as private teaching in primary and high schools. I also maintain a private teaching schedule in my home studio.
My ultimate goal is to bring beauty to the world through music. Music is a universal language and allows us to communicate our ideas and emotions through sound whilst changing our mental well-being. I can’t wait to share my love of music with you, no matter how young or old you are.
