Hi, my name is Luke. After completing my grade 8 AMEB piano exam with honours and 6th grade musicianship, I found a passion for teaching students all that I know and experienced throughout my musical journey. I’ve been teaching piano and guitar lessons for nearly 5 years to people of all ages with varying backgrounds of musical experience. I can teach a wide variety of musical styles including classical, rock, pop, blues, metal, country and folk. I have experience running early childhood lessons for children aged 2 and above where we not only focus on piano but also have fun learning about general musical concepts like rhythm, pitch, and listening skills through different activities. With a background in science/psychology, I aim to give the most robust and efficient learning experience possible. I have a valid Working with Children check number and can provide it upon request. I do accept creative kids vouchers also.
