As well as being a passionate teacher, I am a full-time member of Melbourne Symphony Orchestra; having worked extensively as an orchestral and chamber musician around the world.
Though my full-time schedule only allows for a limited number of students, I offer dedicated teaching, mentoring and coaching for cellists of all levels, focusing particularly on intermediate level and above.
I work extensively with the finest young musicians around the country via Australian Youth Orchestra, Melbourne Youth Orchestras and the Australian National Academy of Music, often working with young musicians as they bridge the path into the profession and into higher education.
Each student will have lessons geared towards their specific goals, with particular care given to enabling them to begin to learn how to solve their own musical problems, and begin to truly find their own unique musical voice.
My love of cello has lasted over 23 years in the profession, and teaching is a source of constant inspiration alongside my performing career.
In order to see if I have room on my teaching roster, please contact me via email or phone, with information about the students experience, and we can aim to schedule a trial lesson.
