Having taught music in Inner West primary schools for over 20 years, I am well aware of the benefits associated with learning music. I have been band master for all different levels of bands. I have also taught adult guitar classes at Parramatta Evening College for 20 years or more, and currently have classes at Windsor and Ashfield.
I try to create an enjoyable classroom for adults. I view it as a time for you to relax and unwind, make new friends, and enjoy a new skill at the same time. I do still expect you to work hard! When students want to learn classical music, my style is structured, and leans towards creating accomplished musicians. I have taught numerous AMEB exams, where my high standards have been very beneficial for students’ grades. I have many years experience with high needs children and people of differing levels of ability and am skilled in providing for their needs.
I charge $40 per class for adult classes, and between $40- $70 per half hour for individual lessons for adults & kids.
