I studied under Henry Wenig at the Victorian College of Arts where I graduated with a music degree in solo performance. I continued advanced solo studies in Klagenfurt, Austria under Milos Mlejnik before returning to Melbourne to join the Binneas String Quartet. The quartet was resident at the Toronto Conservatory where we received tuition from some of North America’s greatest Classical musicians. Although chamber music was always my greatest love, I have also played with the MSO, was principal cellist with the Rantos Collegium and principal cellist with the Australian Pops Orchestra. I have taught at many schools in Melbourne including Melbourne Boys Grammar, Firbank, Geelong Grammar, Geelong College, PLC, Mentone Boys Grammar, Xavier and Genazzano. I was also head of the String department at De la Salle Boys school, was on staff at VCA and an examiner for the AMEB. I am happy to teach anyone at any level providing that they are keen and motivated to learn.
