Hello!
My name is Ciaran and I have been playing the cello since 2008. Under the tutelage of Matthew Kinmont of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, some career achievements include AMEB Grade 8 (high distinction) in 2016, Dux of Music and Music extension at Marist College Ashgrove (2018) and Queensland Youth Symphony (2021). I have been performing in a professional capacity over the last 5 years and have been teaching students of all ages and abilities in my home studio since 2019.
My teaching philosophy is around facilitating students to achieve their goals. Whether your reason for playing is to achieve music excellence or just a hobby for your enjoyment, I tailor my teaching to help students get the most out of playing the cello.
