Susan Murasugi began her musical journey from a famous Solfeggio Conservatoire School

and started playing piano at the age of 5. She has won a few music competitions at her

music school and got a perfect pitch since young age. She also gained high scores for her

ABRSM Piano Exam in a row from grade 1 to 8.

During her time learning piano, Susan liked to explore different kinds of music styles and

started learning how to improvise, doing composition and arrangement for music and also

started to learn multi instruments such as Violin, Guitar, Flute , Percussions and Vocal.

Susan moved to Melbourne , Australia in 2004 and started her tertiary course in music

performance at Boxhill Institute of Tafe where She was majored her piano in Jazz and

Classical Music. She also participated in various kind of gigs and also solo performance for

weddings, church and school events.

Susan is highly trained under famous pianist such as Dr. Julie Haskell ( for her Classical

techniques ) , Steve Sedergreen ( For Jazz improvisation) , Lisa Perk ( for Speech Level

Singing) and Jaanz Singing Academy School ( for Professional singing).

Susan also gained her qualification for A.Mus. A and Bachelor Degree in Classical and Jazz

Piano Performance. She started teaching music since 2005 and gained popularity with long

waiting lists of students since she opened her own Susan Music Studio in Tarneit in 2010.

She also worked in teaching group in primary schools and preparing students for ensemble

and band performances.

Susan is passionate in teaching all ages and disability students. She offers both individual

lessons and group lessons face to face and also online and prepare students for taking

exams, scholarship and also competition. She has done some arrangement for songs and

composition both instrumental and song writing.
