Violin / Fiddle Lessons:
Have you been learning classical violin for a few years now but somewhere you lost the inspiration and passion for the instrument? I’ve been exactly where you are, I’d poured over 10 years into learning violin and didn’t want to throw in the towel but the excitement had eluded me gradually.
That was until I discovered contemporary violin styles, blues and jazz improvisation, and traditional folk fiddle!
Suddenly my enthusiasm was stoked and I was practicing/playing everyday again and loving every second of it. Fast forward another 10 years and I’ve been lucky enough to record violin for some of the biggest artists in Australia as well as tour the country playing festivals to many thousands of people!
Violin doesn’t have to be boring so come for a lesson and let me show why it’s an instrument that belongs on today’s stages!
Lessons are available via ZOOM/SKYPE or from my home studio located in Chatswood 2067

Guitar Lessons:
I’ve been playing guitar for 20 years and I’ll tell you my secret to this long lasting love for this instrument?
Inspiration!
As a teacher, above anything else, I think it’s our job to inspire students like yourself to have an insatiable passion for music and I strongly believe once you’ve seen and heard my story you’ll be dying to pick up your guitar and play!
With a guitar in my hand I’ve made a living touring Australia and the World – I’ve played festivals such as Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival, Listen Out, Field Day, Java Jazz Festival and a huge amount more… (i’ll include a pic with all my festival passes) with artists such as Cosmo’s Midnight, Baker Boy, Wave Racer, Kota Banks, Carmada & Kilter, and as a recording artist I’ve performed on songs that have amassed over 20 million streams on Spotify.
I’ve had music videos on MTV and Rage, and there’s live gigs of me performing on ABC’s ‘The Set’ as well as Triple J’s ‘Like A Version’
2020 and the circumstances surrounding touring has had me change pace for the foreseeable future where I’ll be concentrating on recording and studio work. But this change also presents a rare opportunity for a student like yourself to learn off a professional touring musician such as myself!
Qualifications never hurt either, I’ve got a Bachelor Of Music from the Australian Institute of Music where I was placed on the Deans Honour Roll, 10 Years teaching experience, and AMEB preliminary through to 8th Grade.

ZOOM / SKYPE LESSONS
My primary goal with online lessons was to make them as smooth and productive as face to face lessons to achieve this I have set up a multi camera angle system with a Black Magic ATEM Mini switcher allowing up to 4 angles. The video is captured by Nikon DSLR’s including a d850, d800, and d750 – Generally the 4 angle’s chosen are, face front portrait, full body with instrument, close up on hands, and a screen share.
