Joyee Koay is a violinist who started learning violin at the age of 5. She has completed her AMusA degree (Violin Performance) in 2014 and LMusA (Violin) in 2017 from the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) with her earlier grades completed with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM).
She has been a part of the Performing Arts Unit (in their productions of the Victorian State School Spectaculars) and is actively involved in eisteddfods and orchestral performances. She was invited to play on 3MBS ‘The Talent’ Program where she received the Audience Award.
She will be accepting students of all ages studying AMEB or ABRSM Violin Practical from Beginners up to Grade 8; and students who are learning for fun. Guest teaching, masterclass and workshop opportunities are also welcomed.
