I am a flute specialist who has been teaching woodwind instruments since 2017. As a teacher, I have experience in teaching within public, independent and catholic schools, and have completed a work placement with the Education and Outreach Team of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra.
Currently, I teach at Casey Grammar School and Mentone Grammar, where I teach individual and group lessons on the flute, clarinet and saxophone, lead the school flute ensembles and direct the Junior School Concert Band, an optional co-curricular activity for students in Years 3-6.
Every student has their own needs and lessons are catered to these needs and desires. My students have worked towards AMEB exams, band performances, scholarship examinations and ensemble auditions. Some of my students are also working on long term passion projects, such as composing and performing their own music, or working through the entire soundtrack of a video game. Students of all ages and abilities are welcome, and I have experience in teaching students on the autism spectrum and those with developmental delays. I teach all levels of flute players, and clarinet players and saxophone players up to an intermediate level.
Please feel free to contact me at any time to discuss your lesson needs, including trying a casual lesson to see if I am the right fit or seeing me perform in a concert to hear what I sound like. I teach from my home in Boronia, but I am willing to come to you for an additional travel fee.
Lessons in Boronia/Online: 30 mins/$30, 45 mins/$45, 60 mins/$60.
Lessons in your home/mutual location: 30 mins/$40, 45 mins/$60, 60 mins/$80.
